Corruption is not a run of bad officials. It is a culture, and it is reformed by making theft harder and prosecution certain.

The record

• The party was founded in 1991 on this single proposition.
• Its founder cleaned out the Bureau of Immigration in 1988 and was given the Ramon Magsaysay Award for it.
• In May 2026 the party condemned corruption and abuse of power, and pledged its support to the people harmed by both.

Electoral and political reform

A vote that is cast honestly and counted honestly is the precondition for everything else on this list.

• The party contested the 1992 count and has pressed on the integrity of the process ever since.

Climate and energy

The Philippines is among the countries least responsible for the climate crisis and most exposed to it. Policy should reflect that.

Health and equal rights

Access to healthcare and equal treatment under the law are not favours the state grants. They are what it owes.

• The SOGIE Equality Bill, first filed in 2000 and refiled repeatedly since.

Rule of law

The same law, applied to the powerful and the powerless alike, or it is not law.

• Elected to the International Criminal Court in 2011, the first Asian from a developing nation.

Bringing young people in

Reform outlasts the person who starts it only if the next generation is trained to carry it.
